Comfortable beds that make for a good night's sleep. An above-average fitness room was noted, and breakfast offered good hours for hungry travelers.

The pool heater was out during the visit, which seemed like a temporary issue, but can still be a letdown. Some rooms are undergoing upgrades, which can lead to minor inconveniences like missing coffee makers or mirrors. A car was reportedly tampered with in the parking lot, though it's uncertain how often that happens.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this place. The staff were all excellent, attentive. The setting of hotel was excellent and unbeatable, to the upper peninsula of Michigan. Plus it was max 10 mins walk to the lake.

Super friendly staff made check-in easy. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast offered a decent selection, even when I came down a bit late. A great spot for a quick getaway 😊

I almost considered writing a nice review, But then realized breakfast was wiped out by 9:30 with just sad, lonely bread left, And the front desk staff's dismissive attitude was unbecoming. Although they have 30+ rooms, my request for a late check-out was met with cruelty. I definitly expected more .

great nearby parks and dining options for city explorers

I had a fantastic time exploring the area, as the hotel is just a few steps from Culver's for a quick bite after strolling through River Bend Trail, under 3 km away and perfect for a leisurely walk.

Loved the super clean rooms and comfy beds! Such a vibe, especially working nights and grabbing coffee anytime.

Liked to be here, the hotel was immaculately clean and wonderful, the location was convenient next to everything in walking distance. The venue rooms were large and newly decorated with a sofa bed and the fireplace, for instance. Location: the hotel was close enough to an awesome Mexican restaurant, Merrill for a class reunion, and the upper peninsula of Michigan. And there was Culver's with short-orders steps away from the venue, super convenient😃👌

Both lovable and frustrating

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast options were plentiful, even late into the morning!

I found the pet fee disclosure misleading during check-in.

The late check-out request could be handled with more care!!! It would also be beneficial to have more seating options in the room as opposed to just desk chairs.
